Po dość długim okresie ciszy, mamy dla was nową propozycję muzyczną. Projekt „Twins In Mind” jest nadal w trakcie pracy nad albumem „Sad In Joy”, ale już dziś będziecie mogli dowiedzieć się o nim czegoś więcej, ze specjalnego wywiadu przeprowadzonego z Adrianem Baussens (Manu Riga) dla naszej strony.

Wywiad będzie dostępny w języku angielskim, jeśli będą jakiekolwiek problemy z jego zrozumieniem ,dajcie nam znać ,wtedy udostępnimy go także w języku polskim.



1.Twins in Mind – where does the name of the project come from? Does it have any specific meaning?

Yes , Twins in Mind has a huge meaning for us. When John and I met on the Enigma forum board it felt like finding a lost brother. Via Skype we discovered that we had the same thoughts and the same , almost on a paranormal level, ideas. We could be easily an identical twin.
So the name Twins in Mind came very natural to us. Later in the process we met a third Twin Don longton is our third and final fixed member within Twins in Mind


2.When did the idea of creating the project emerge and why did you choose this music style?

Both of us are Enigma fans of the first hour. We met on a competition of Enigma for his 7th album and we discovered that we both were very very disappointed in the recent style changes of Michael Cretu. We truly missed the old Enigma and what it should have become in our opinion. So we decided to go on where MC left off. That is how our music started.


3.Can you tell us something about making the „Fallacy of Faith” and „Beyond Vision” videos? Where was the location? Where did the idea come from?

As our video maker and part of the TIM team lives in Granada Spain , we couldn’t dream of a better location with diversity and amazing landscapes. Both videoclip scripts are written all together. The idea behind the whole clips and music lays in the danger of too much faith in religions and their leaders. Especially the blind believe in the Vatican. Church and sexuality never has been a good couple.


4.It is clearly noticeable that the videos are connected thematically. They both represent critical approach to faith. Will it be the main motif of the first Twins in Mind’s album?

Not only the critical approach will be the motif. It’s about the emotions every human feels,Sadness ,disappointment, pain , love ,happiness etc. Faith can be a good thing , depending in what you believe. So we approach faith in all aspects. There are songs that will show the faith in love.


5.What are the future plans of Twins in Mind? Will the album „Sad In Joy” determine the music style and atmosphere of the project or will the music evolve?

This album took a long time, because me and john became also soundtrack composers for diverse movies. But we are looking forward to explore our possibilities within this genre. There will be evolution in the music for sure, but the fans can be assured that we will not make the same mistake as, what we believe, Enigma did.


6.What is your inspiration when you write the music?

Daily life, National Geographic, dreams, friendship with people all over the world etc.


7.Do you follow any particular music patterns? Do you have your own gurus who inspire you?

I think this question is answered by the style of music. But although Cretu is our biggest idol TIM stays different enough to not be a copy of Enigma.


8.What can you tell us about the album „Sad In Joy”?

The album will be released on Bonzai Elementals , probably (no promise) within Six months.
Buyers of the album will get a lot of extras. And if you love any of our songs the album will be a journey to you .


9.What are you dreams and goals in relation to Twins in Mind?

Twins in Mind is never been made to become superstars or whatever.
We started TIM to fill a whole in our musical world and we hope to do that for many people.
TIM is our child , so it’s hard to explain.
