W 1992 roku, niemiecki producer Torsten Stenzel ufundował legendarną już wytwórnię "Planet Love Records". Powstały w niej między innymi takie projekty muzyczne jak : Taucher, DJ Sakin & Friends oraz YORK. W Listopadzie tego roku Planet Love Records połączyła swoje siły z wytwórnią Armada Music. Na chwilę obecną planowane jest wydanie wszystkich największych klasyków wytwórni "Planet Love Records" w formacie digital download (bedą one dostępne pod patronatem "Planet Love Classics").
Album "York - Best Of" nie jest typową składanką."Best Of" to zestaw remiksów oraz utworów, w pełni zremasterowanych i trzeba przyznać, że remastering zrobiono bardzo dobrze. Wraz z albumem "Best Of" pojawiły się również zremasterowane single (spis poniżej) na których oprócz wydanego wcześniej materiały znajdują się także rarytasy.
